For over a decade, I haven’t known a day without pain. It’s a unavoidable fact of life for me and one that could easily keep me grounded. I’ve always tried to keep active, and I’m a dancer, but nothing has helped keep the pain to a manageable level like choosing Be Strong as my gym.
Two and a half years ago, I walked in at the recommendation of a friend, nervous and unsure if I was going to be able to keep up without making the pain worse.
Now, I’m not just working within the limitations of my body, I’m actively and safely pushing them further with less and less pain. Because the coaches are patient, because they are knowledgeable, and because the workouts can be scaled to any ability level, I’ve never felt that I was getting less of a workout or less of an athlete because I wasn’t always doing the same as the person next to me.
